WHO WE ARE
South OC Cru is a caring community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ. Our vision is to encourage college students to accept the calling to be Christ centered laborers.
As part of an interdenominational worldwide Christian ministry called Cru, South OC Cru has the global vision of giving every person in the world the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. We are specifically focused on seeing this goal realized in the context of the college students in South Orange County.
We are currently on the campuses of UC Irvine and Chapman University with the hope and prayers to eventually reach every campus in South Orange County.
What We Do:
Through action groups, weekly meetings, campus wide events and other gatherings, we provide opportunities for South Orange County students to encounter Jesus, grow in community, and impact the world.
Our three folded strategy in helping to fulfill the Great Commission is: WIN, BUILD, and SEND. Win – Sharing the Gospel to students on every corner of our campuses. Build – Investing in college students through discipleship. Send – Encouraging college students to go to the world with the Gospel.
Our Leadership:
We are a student organization at Chapman University and UC Irvine. Our Cru movements are student led and staff coached.
Our team of staff members work both full-time and part-time with our team in South Orange County. Our staff are passionate about training and empowering students to be missional.
